Veres midfielder and former Polissya player Yevhen Morozko spoke about the incident that happened to WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Our titled boxer and the Zhytomyr club held a joint training session where he showed a video of how he was preparing for his fights.
"It's just a basin of water. He dives into it. He sits underwater for four minutes. He loses consciousness. He is brought out. He smells ammonia, all that stuff, and then he goes back in. Can you imagine what kind of spirit this person has to do that? It's unreal... You lose consciousness and again you are without air," the footballer was shocked by what he saw on the Youtube channel "Brutal Football".
Morozko admires the boxer who tried to psychologically adjust the players.
"He was like a psychologist. He showed us how he prepared for his fights and thus motivated us, and those who understood him correctly took it as motivation," the Veres midfielder summarized.
