Three-time Russian soccer champion as a member of CSKA Venimanin Mandrykin died at the age of 41, his first coach Valery Gorokhov told Russian media. The cause of demise is called a heart attack.

 

Mandrykin, who won the Russian Super Cup three times (2004, 2006, 2007), the Russian Cup four times (2001/02, 2004/05, 2005/06, 2007/08), and the UEFA Cup in 2004/2005, has been paralyzed since 2010.

In his early interviews, Mandrykin, recalling his meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin described with admiration the atmosphere that surrounded the Kremlin chief.

In addition, the ex-footballer of the Moscow club openly supported the war against Ukraine, turning a blind eye to the crimes of the Russian army.
