"Better than all countries!" Valuev in a rage declared Russia's superiority over the West and refused to go to the 2024 Olympics
Former world heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev has spoken out with pathos about his refusal to attend the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The so-called State Duma deputy, in a patriotic frenzy, called Russia "better than Western countries," forgetting to add that he had not been invited to the French capital.
Valuev said this in a comment to the Sport24 portal. The accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime spoke with traditional disdain of Europeans, who are allegedly superior to Russians, and rejected the participation of so-called neutral athletes in the Games.
"I will not go to the Olympics in Paris. Our athletes are not there. I haven't been abroad either - we deputies have been traveling for a long time. I'm not going anywhere because I believe that Russia is better than all Western countries. Russia is our homeland! We have the best people," Valuev said.
The so-called president of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Umar Kremlin, has demanded that Russian athletes burn their Olympic licenses, calling Russian athletes at the 2024 Games traitors.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the head of the All-Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation Irina Viner called neutral Russian athletes a "team of homeless people."
