Not seen for almost a month: a dog lost after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station explosion meets his owner. A touching video
A month after the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, there was some good news. Residents of the territory flooded by Russia's war crime were able to reunite with their dog, who was lost during the tragedy caused by the Russians.
This animal, like many others, was rescued by animal volunteers who tracked down its owners. The footage of their meeting was posted online today (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
All three of them - a woman, a man and their pet - could not contain their feelings. The dog could not stand still, spinning around, poking its nose at people, as if hugging them.
Eventually, in a fit of emotion, the dog threw its owner to the ground and began to lick her face.
All those present, as well as social media users, were moved to tears by this scene.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported:
- Four-legged animals were rescued from the areas flooded by the hydroelectric power station explosion and managed to survive the flood. One dog from Kherson region had to be literally brought back from the dead by volunteers.
- Ukrainians in the Kherson region dig potatoes even under water. They are forced to do this after the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, which led to the flooding of large areas.
