"The Avengers" was first released in 2012. Director Joss Whedon made the film based on the Marvel Comics comic book of the same name. The sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a logical sequel to "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "The First Avenger."

"Avengers. Endgame" is a sequel to the first movie, as well as "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018) and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015). The film was directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. An emotional deleted scene featuring actor Robert Downey Jr. went viral online.

Fans of the Marvel universe had mixed emotions about the "Avengers" finale. The last part brought a not-very-positive culmination for the character of Robert Downey Jr. Recently, a deleted scene appeared on the Internet – it's about the moment after Tony Stark puts on the Infinity Gauntlet.

Stark puts on the gauntlet and snaps his fingers, effectively sacrificing his life to defeat Thanos. Instead, in the deleted scene, Stark suddenly wakes up in an in-between place and sees his daughter Morgan.

Morgan is now an adult (played by Katherine Langford), so Stark first asks if he knows her before realizing who he is.

"Did it work?" asks Stark.

"Yes, it worked for me, I can live and grow. As for you, I can't answer that," Morgan says.

This scene is deep and emotional. It shows Tony's realization of the consequences of his actions and his excitement after the decision he made.

"I'm proud of you," Morgan adds.

"If you're happy, I'm happy," Stark replies.

To raise the emotional quotient a bit more, Stark returns to their charming conversation shown earlier in the movie.

This footage did not make it into the final version of the 2019 movie, and it seems that many fans of the Marvel universe have never seen it, given the surprised comments.

It is now known that Marvel is preparing two new Avengers films: "Avengers: Judgment Day," which will be tentatively released in theaters on May 1, 2026, and "Avengers: Secret Wars," expected in May 2027.
