Communication plays an important role in a child's future entrepreneurial spirit. This is the opinion of Margot Machol Bisnow, a parenting expert and mother. The expert conducted a study by interviewing 70 parents who raised very successful people.

The expert shared four phrases that adults did not use and that helped their children achieve their dreams. Bisnow shared the results of her research with CNBC.

I don't trust you, so I looked at your homework and corrected your mistakes for you

According to Bisnow, all parents emphasized the importance of responsibility and accountability. They wanted their children to take responsibility, solve problems, learn from mistakes, and be more confident as they got older. But it's not just about homework.

John Arrow, who founded a successful tech company that has brought him more than $200 million in revenue, explained how his parents gave him the opportunity to correct his mistakes on his own.

The story happened to him in the fifth grade when he and his classmates were making a school newspaper and published one of the issues without checking the facts. The principal got very angry with the students, and they got into trouble with the adults. However, John's parents reacted differently.

"Knowing that my parents would support me, even when the school leadership was against me, made me work twice as hard. To show them that they were right to believe in me," the successful businessman said.

We're increasing your pocket money so you can buy yourself anything you want

One of his parents advised Bisnow never to give cash for free. All adults, regardless of their socioeconomic status, taught their children the value of money. Even wealthier students had to work to earn money.

In particular, the parenting expert shared the story of Nyla Rodgers, who founded a non-profit organization. This was facilitated by her mother's decision to give only half the amount of money for a trip abroad with her classmates. Having a strong desire to go on the trip, the girl was forced to work various jobs to earn the rest of the money. According to her, it was with such work that her entrepreneurial journey began.

No extracurricular activities until grades improve

Jon Chu, a director of many blockbusters, told the expert that he had a passion for making movies since the second grade. And it was his mother who contributed to his success in his career, despite the fact that his parents hoped he would continue their restaurant business.

A woman who once saw her son working on a video instead of doing his homework was upset by the situation. However, the next time when she picked Jon up from school, she gave him some movie books.

"If you want to do this, read the books and be the best in your chosen field," his mother encouraged the filmmaker with these words.

I'll give you money if you get good grades

The realization that they are doing exactly what they love helped very successful people to reach heights. According to Bisnow, adults supported their sons and daughters in doing exactly what they liked. So students developed a desire to create better products and services.

The expert notes that it is important for children to believe that money is likely to come. And even if it is not, it is better than working at something they hate.
