Thanks to low-cost airlines, tourists have the opportunity to travel at affordable prices, discovering new countries and cultures. Wizz Air holds a special place among them, providing a wide range of routes and services for its customers.

Recently, the airline announced the launch of an unlimited flight pass. At first glance, this offer sounds like a real find for those who travel frequently, but Euronews has revealed some pitfalls.

In the world of air travel, new offers are constantly emerging that promise travelers more convenience and opportunities. One of the latest innovations that has attracted the attention of many is a new subscription from the Hungarian airline Wizz Air, which offers unlimited flights for its customers. Although this offer looks attractive, it is important to carefully read its terms and conditions before signing up.

New opportunities from Wizz Air

Wizz Air, an airline known for its affordable pricing policy, has recently announced the launch of a unique service that allows customers to fly as many times as they want throughout the year. The offer looks especially attractive for those who travel a lot, as the annual pass cost only 499 euros for those who managed to purchase it before August 16, after which the price increased to 599 euros.

For this payment, passengers will be able to fly on any of Wizz Air's 950 routes covering Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

What is important to know before subscribing?

At first glance, Wizz Air's offer seems to be extremely favorable, but there are several important aspects that may be a reason for reflection.

First, you can book tickets only 72 hours before departure. This means that seats on flights may be limited and passengers planning last-minute trips may not always be able to find free seats.

Secondly, the cost of baggage transportation and seat selection is not included in the ticket price and can significantly increase costs.

It is also important to note that season ticket holders will have to pay an additional fee of €9.99 for each flight. Because of this, the cost of travel may be significantly higher than expected.

Environmental aspect

Wizz Air has long faced criticism over its environmental policy. Climate activists have expressed concern that the new pass will encourage unlimited flights, which could lead to an increase in CO2 emissions.

Representatives of Wizz Air, in turn, assure that the new product will help to maximize the load on flights in the last hours before departure, which will contribute to flight efficiency and reduce emissions per unit of passengers transported.
