Modern technology continues to surprise us with innovative features. With each new update, users of iOS smartphones get new features that make life much easier.

One of these new features that promises to be a real hit is called Thanos Snap. A video of how it works was published by MacRumors.

Thanos, whom viewers remember from the films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, could destroy half of the universe with a snap of his fingers thanks to his magic stones. The new iOS 18 feature on iPhone promises something similar, albeit on a less dramatic scale.

Probably everyone has faced situations when annoying ads or notifications about the use of cookies prevent them from fully consuming information or enjoying content. Fortunately, this will soon no longer be a problem.

A new feature called "Distraction Control" has already appeared in Safari in the fifth beta of iOS 18 and iPadOS18. It will allow users to temporarily remove annoying and distracting elements from a mobile website, including tooltips, ads, auto-play videos, and more.

For now, to hide distractions, you'll need to press the same button you used to turn on reading mode and then select Hide Distracting Items.

After that, by clicking on an ad or notification, you can get rid of it as if you already had all the infinity stones with you.
