Most of us have tasted dishes in our childhood that have long since been forgotten. But they will always remain in our memory because they were prepared with great love.

For example, chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi remembers the taste of potato sausage, which he used to eat hot from the oven. It was his recipe that he recently shared on Instagram.

Ingredients

  • Peeled potatoes – 1 kg
  • Onion – 100 g
  • Underbelly – 350 g
  • Smoked bacon – 100 g
  • Onions for frying – 300 g
  • Cream 30% – 100 ml
  • Seasoning for potatoes
  • Intestine – 2 meters

Method of preparation

1. Thaw the underbelly a little, chop finely, and fry in a pan.

2. Add smoked bacon and chopped onions. Fry until the onions are golden brown.

3. Grate the potatoes with 1 fresh onion or chop them in a blender.

4. Add cream and seasoning to the potatoes.

5. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and fill the intestines with them. Fill no more than halfway so that the sausage does not burst during cooking.

6. Tie the edges of the intestine in knots, and pierce the sausage in several places. Add a little water.

7. Bake at 175-180 degrees, on both sides until golden brown. It will take about 45 minutes.
