Most people store eggs in the refrigerator in their original packaging. There they stay fresh for three weeks. If you separate the whites from the yolks, the former can be consumed within two weeks, while the latter will spoil in three days.

As it turns out, in order to keep eggs good for 12 months, you just need to freeze them. This product will keep best if the whites are separated from the yolks before freezing. It is also better to freeze the eggs in small quantities. The most practical way is to freeze one yolk and one white. This way, you can determine the amount of product you are separating for cooking.

But, egg yolks, due to their thicker consistency, can lose their gel-like structure during freezing. To prevent this, simply add 1 tsp of salt or 1.5 tbsp of sugar for every 240 ml of product. It is better to use egg yolks with salt for savory dishes, and with sugar, of course, for sweet dishes.
