Ingredients for dough for 12 pieces:

  • Warm milk - 250 ml
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Dry yeast - 6 grams
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Flour - 380 g
  • Egg - for greasing

Ingredients for the filling for 12 pieces:

  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Pumpkin - 450 gr
  • Sugar - 1-2 tsp
  • Salt - 1-2 tsp
  • Black pepper

Method of preparation

1. Add sugar, salt and yeast to warm milk. Stir well.

2. Pour in the vegetable oil, add the sifted flour, and knead a homogeneous dough.

3. Put the dough into a greased bowl, cover, and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

4. For the filling, fry the finely chopped onion in a frying pan and remove from the heat.

5. Peel and grate the pumpkin on a coarse grater.

6. Put them in a frying pan with oil and fry until softened.

7. Add the fried onions, salt, sugar, and plenty of black pepper.

8. When the dough is well suited, pass it around, divide it into 12 equal parts, and make pies.

9. Put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment and cover with a towel, leave for 30 minutes.

10. Brush the patties with egg and put them in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
