Air conditioning in cars will work faster: a trick was shown on the network

Many drivers do not even realize that car air conditioning has two modes of operation

When we get into a hot car, we always want the air conditioner to work as quickly as possible and cool the interior in a matter of seconds. And it is indeed possible to significantly speed up the air conditioner.

An automotive expert @dongchexiaoshimei shared his life hack on TikTok. According to him, drivers usually forget to press one button on the dashboard, and that's why their cooling works so slowly. (To watch the video, scroll down to the end)

Typically, modern cars have two different air intake buttons on their dashboard that are responsible for different cooling modes. One of them, called the fresh air mode, draws in air from the street. The other cools the air that is already inside the cabin by recirculating it. To cool your car quickly and efficiently, you need to use both.

Meanwhile, the expert claims that 80% of drivers do not do this. Therefore, they suffer from the heat in their cars.

To use the proposed life hack, you need to open all the windows of the car. Do this before you even get in the car.

Then turn on the car air conditioner. Choose the maximum mode and the lowest temperature. After that, press the air intake from the outside and leave this mode running for two minutes.

This way, the air conditioner will draw air from the street into the cabin, which is cooler than in a heated car anyway. And open windows will help make it happen faster.

When the two minutes are up, it's time to close the windows and switch to recirculation mode. From that moment on, the air conditioner will drive the cabin air through its system and cool this small amount, which will take less time and energy.
