You won't need an iron: how to dry clothes so they're smooth
Ironing clothes is quite a grueling procedure, especially in the summer when the room is already hot. You can save time and effort if you hang things correctly at the drying stage.
This lifehack is especially suitable for shirts. How to dry clothes after washing, so that you do not need to iron, Genialne.pl publication revealed.
Lifehack with a hanger
So, you've washed your clothes and you're going to dry them on the balcony or outside. Instead of hanging wet shirts on a rope, use a hanger. This simple but sensible alternative will instantly line your clothes. However, the bottom of your shirt needs to be weighed down to keep it in shape. Clothespins are great for this. Just gently attach them to the edge of the fabric, and then let the shirt dry. After a few hours, the garment will not only be fresh and fragrant but it will be smooth.
A few more tips
- Before hanging the clothes, shake each item. This way the fabric will straighten and there will be fewer creases.
- During the washing phase, make sure that the clothes are creased as little as possible. So always set a low spin speed and remove the clothes from the machine immediately after the cycle is complete.
- Experts recommend throwing a few ice cubes in the drum of the machine. As a result, the material will become smoother.
Homemade spray
Ingredients needed:
- water;
- white vinegar;
- hair conditioner.
Mix 1.5 cups water, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon hair conditioner and pour the solution into a spray bottle. Spray it on the creases, then stretch the fabric. Vinegar has a rather unpleasant smell, so you can replace it with rinse aid.
