Tender chicken liver pâté: what to add for a bright flavor
Chicken liver pâté is a very budget-friendly, yet tasty and easy-to-prepare appetizer. It can be spread on toast and sandwiches, as well as supplemented with carrots, apples, cranberries, butter, crackers, and even jelly, which will give the paste an incredible aroma and original taste.
Nutriciologist Yelyzaveta Potochevska (lizochkaps) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for liver pâté, the special taste of which is given by apples and spicy spices.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver - 600 g
- apples - 2,5 pcs.
- carrots - 3 pcs
- onion - 1 large
- butter
- olive oil
- freshly ground coriander
- garam masala spice
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the carrots into large slices, dice the onion. Fry in a mixture of butter and olive oil until slightly soft.
2. Add the liver to the vegetables, stir.
3. Cut the apples into large slices, add the livers. Mix well.
4. Add spices and cover with a little water. Cook until the moisture has completely evaporated and the ingredients are tender.
5. Add a small piece of butter to the prepared ingredients and beat with a blender until smooth.
