The controversial Lokomotiv Moscow footballer Artem Dzyuba has declared his full support for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin amid the war in Ukraine. The 34-year-old striker has been marked by a full set of Kremlin propaganda stamps about traditional values.

Dzyuba said this in an interview with journalist Nobel Harustamyan on the YouTube channel of the former employee of the propaganda TV channel Match TV. The footballer, whose sex video was leaked online, added that he would believe in his country, which shamefully attacked Ukraine, to the end.

"I believe in my country, I am a patriot of my country, I love my country. History will judge everything globally in the future. And now I am fully behind my president, Putin, I'm completely behind him, I don't even hide it. I believe that everything will be fine. I'm like that, even if you kill me, I will stand by my country to the end. History will judge who is right and who is wrong later, but I will believe to the end that we are for the right thing. I am insanely happy that my country has a man and a woman, a father and a mother. There is none of this incomprehensible stuff: "have abortions", gender. The values are family and love for children. I really don't like what's happening in the world on a massive scale," Dzyuba said.

It should be noted that after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Vitaliy Mykolenko recorded an angry message to Dzyuba.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, former Dynamo Vladivostok goalkeeper David Alekseev, who plays in the Russian Second League, died after falling out of a window. According to rumours, the 19-year-old footballer was afraid of mobilisation.
