How not to cook rice: it will become unhealthy
Rice is an ingredient in many popular dishes and can also be a great side dish for fish or chicken. But in some cases this product becomes harmful.

How not to cook rice
Very often it happens that hostesses cook a large portion of rice at once and put it in the refrigerator. Then they reheat it as a side dish or with vegetables. The same applies to dishes with these grains. For example, stuffed cabbage rolls. But the thing is that after reheating rice can cause food poisoning.
This doesn't mean that rice can't be heated at all, just that it needs to be stored properly before that.
The expert notes that raw rice can contain Bacillus cereus bacterial spores. These spores can survive heat treatment. If rice is left at room temperature for a long time, these spores can outgrow the bacteria. In turn, these bacteria multiply and can produce toxins that cause poisoning symptoms.
Therefore, it is necessary to follow a few rules that relate to the safe consumption of rice:
1. Refrigerate the rice or rice dishes for 1 hour. After that, place it in the refrigerator.
2. Store rice in the refrigerator no longer than 1 day
3. Do not heat rice more than 1 time
4. Watch the temperature of the heated rice so that it is not cold.
5. It is best to cook rice or rice dishes for 1 day, and the stuffed cabbage rolls can be cooked without the whole yard.
