Flourless cottage cheese casserole in a new way: how to make a delicious dessert
Cottage cheese casserole is the perfect recipe for a quick breakfast and a delicious dessert. The only problem is that it often falls apart during cooking and does not hold its shape at all. At the same time, you can make casserole without flour, replacing it with semolina.
Food blogger Oksana Pashko on her YouTube channel(Cooking with Oksana Pashko) shared arecipe for a cottage cheese casserole in a new way with a delicious sour cream layer.
Ingredients:
Cheese layer:
- cottage cheese - 750 g
- sugar - 150 g
- eggs - 2 units
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- semolina - 2 tbsp.
- lemon - 1 pc
- raisins - 70 g
Sour cream layer:
- sour cream - 300 ml
- egg - 1 pc
- sugar - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the raisins and pour boiling water over them for 10 minutes.
2. Mix the cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat with an immersion blender.
3. Add the semolina, raisins and lemon zest. Stir to combine. Place in a baking dish lined with parchment. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
4. Mix sour cream, egg and sugar. Spread the mixture on the casserole. Bake for another 20-25 minutes.
