What to feed cucumbers in the spring: a working scheme

Cucumber season is coming soon, so you need to feed the young plants before the end of spring to get a rich harvest. It is especially necessary for super bunchy varieties that produce an increased number of fruits.

How to do it correctly, OBOZREVATEL was asked. We tell you about an effective scheme. It involves alternating different fertilizers every 5-7 days.

Yeast feeding

To prepare a liquid fertilizer, dilute 10 g of yeast, 50 g of sugar, and 1 liter of mother liquor in 10 liters of water. This mixture is poured under each plant.

Green fertilizer

It is made from the green mass of grass. A bucket of 10 liters is filled to a third of the grass, and then pour water on top of it. To stand liquid should be 3-5 days, so start preparing it in advance. When the fertilizer is ready, filter it, dilute 1 liter of infusion in 10 liters of water, and pour the resulting solution of cucumbers.

Biohumus or potassium humate

Five days after the application of green fertilizer, apply one of these means. They are diluted at the rate of 30 ml per 10 liters of water. This solution can be used both for watering and for spraying plants.

Manure

The best way for cucumbers is to use horse manure. It is convenient to use its ready extract. Then 30 ml of liquid is diluted in 10 liters of water and applied under the roots of cucumbers.

Monocalium phosphate .

The substance for the solution is taken at the rate of 10 ml per 10 liters of water. This tool can also be both watered cucumbers and sprayed.
