More than 100 people mobilised from the Russian Federation disappeared in the Luhansk region

More than 100 Russian conscripts disappeared in the Luhansk region after refusing to sign contracts with the private military company Wagner. They have not been in touch since April 7.

This was reported by the Russian media outlet ASTRA, citing relatives of the missing soldiers. During the last conversation with their parents, one of them complained about pressure from armed PMC representatives (to listen to the audio, scroll to the end of the news).

They were going to take the conscripts to the training ground. Before that, they were threatened by the former "president of South Ossetia", Lieutenant General Anatoly Bibilov, and then armed mercenaries from Wagner locked the mobilised people in a carriage factory in Stakhanov.

"We have been depersonalised, there are no military, people with weapons have been brought in, and I understand that our phones will be taken away, and we will not be able to communicate," the Russian said before his disappearance.

"We have no choice. Those who definitely said 'no' have already been taken away, I don't know what is happening to them now. It's the Wagner guys who came. You know, they don't give a f*ck, they're going to kill us and throw us into the field and that's it," another mobilised man told his relatives.

Recall that earlier, Russian mobilised soldiers from Tuva (Russia), who are taking part in the war against Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, complained that the command kept them in the basement and did not let them out, effectively taking them prisoner. Moreover, the soldiers had not been fed for several days. They were held in the occupied town of Polohy, Zaporizhzhia region.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- The mobilised from 52 regions of the Russian Federation complained about delays in payments at all levels - from national to regional. If the scale of mobilisation expands, problems with payments will only increase;

- those mobilised from the Irkutsk region repeatedly complained about the command, publishing video appeals, and eventually were sent to the frontline near Avdiivka.
