The bodies of "1,000-year-old aliens" from Mexico were lab tested; things just got more interesting

Researchers from Mexico have conducted the first series of tests to verify the extraterrestrial origin of the bodies of alleged aliens, which are said to be more than 1000 years old. These are the same mummies that were recently shown by journalist and amateur ufologist Jaime Maussan during a hearing in the Mexican Congress and were immediately criticized.

The results of the study are reported by Interesting Engineering. Scientists have found that one of the first theories of their "origin" was wrong.

Speaking in the Mexican Congress, Maussan stated under oath that the "alien" mummies, which were displayed in glass boxes, were allegedly found in 2017 during excavations in Cusco, Peru. At the same time, he stated that the genetic composition of 30% of the bodies was still "unknown."

Of course, the scientific community, to put it mildly, was very skeptical of the ufologist's statement. In particular, professor and TV host Brian Cox said that the alien bodies were "too humanoid" to be truly alien. He also emphasized that it is very unlikely that an intelligent species would have evolved on another planet but "looked like us."

There have also been suggestions that the mummies of the "aliens" were made from the bones of different animals to falsify the sensation.

However, tests conducted by Mexican doctors and researchers have shown that the skeleton samples belong to the same individual and there are no discernible marks to indicate that the skeletons were made from different parts. There are also no signs that would indicate "assembly or manipulation of the skulls," as the team that conducted the examination claims.

According to Jesus Zalche Benitez, head of the Health Sciences Research Institute, the examination showed that the alleged aliens have a complete skeleton and were not assembled from different parts, as previously thought.

New York Post also quoted Benitez as saying that his team had discovered that one of the creatures could be pregnant. Earlier, Benitez also claimed that "these bodies have nothing to do with human beings".

The presented alien corpses have an anatomical structure that has some similarities to the human anatomy. We are talking about the presence of two arms and legs (which, however, have three toes), as well as a head, two eyes, a mouth and something similar to a nose. Other characteristics, such as an elongated neck or a disproportionately large head, however, are more "typical of birds."

Maussan argued before Congress that these "specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution... These are not creatures that were found after a UFO crash. They were found in diatom (algae) mines and later fossilized."

The scientific community is not very favorable to Mossad as he has already made statements about the discovery of alien mummies in Peru in the past, which later turned out to be the remains of a human baby. OBOZREVATEL previously reported the details of that case.
