Teryushkov speaks out against Europe

The so-called State Duma deputy Roman Teryushkov has criticised the Russian Football Union (RFU) for refusing to participate in the Central Asian Confederation Championship - CAFA-2023. The member of the United Russia party noted that Russia should move as far away from Europe as possible.

Teryushkov said this in an interview with the RB Sport portal. The fan of Vladimir Putin's regime accused Europe and NATO countries of supporting Ukraine, which continues to defend itself against the military aggression of the Russian Federation. The pseudo-MP called on the country's sports federations to move to Asia.

"The refusal of the Central Asian football associations to participate in the tournament is due to the Russian Football Federation's weak-willed rushing from Europe to Asia. First of all, this is due to the lack of a position of the executive body responsible for the development and implementation of state policy in the field of physical culture and sports. Europe is represented by countries, mostly NATO members. These countries supply weapons to the fascist Zelenskyy regime, which is killing our soldiers and civilians. In today's historical realities, the path to Europe is closed and impossible," Teryushkov said.

Earlier, former Russian national footballer Igor Kolivanov, who said that Ukrainians belong to the Russian Federation, spoke arrogantly about Asians.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Russian Federation Secretary General Maxim Mitrofanov accused the European Football Union (UEFA) of having decided to remove Russians from international tournaments "too quickly".
