Russia withdraws almost all its military from Belarus: the State Security Service of Ukraine analyzed the situation

There are almost no Russian servicemen left in Belarus: Russia withdrew them as part of rotations. Despite this and the lack of signals about a possible repeated attempt of the Russian Federation to attack Ukraine from the north, border guards are still taking measures in case of such a scenario.

This was told by the speaker of the state Border service Andriy Demchenko at a briefing in Kyiv. He also added that the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is fully controlled.

"The situation on the border with Belarus remains fully controlled. We do not see that the enemy has enough resources to invade Ukraine again from the other side of the border. Despite this, we must be ready for any change of the situation, as Belarus, unfortunately, continues to support Russia in the war it has unleashed against Ukraine," Demchenko emphasized.

He added that Russia uses Belarus as a platform or training ground for its units in particular. However, there are almost no Russian servicemen in Belarus now.

"The number of Russian militaries at the Belarusian training grounds has only been decreasing lately. Recently we recorded this number at the level of up to 2 thousand servicemen, but at the moment there has been another rotation and almost all the Russian military has been withdrawn from the territory of Belarus. We can't rule out the possibility that the next units may be brought back to the territory of Belarus, but at the moment we don't record it," Demchenko said.

The speaker also noted that the State Border Service of Ukraine does not see the organized arrival of Russian mercenaries from the PMC "Wagner" in Belarus, despite the country's preparation of the sites for their deployment.

We shall remind you that recently satellite images appeared in the network, recording the dismantling of camps for the training of the Russian military in Belarus. Tent cities set up at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, are being demolished at the three main Belarusian firing ranges.

At the same time, Belarus began to build a camp for the "Wagner" soldiers.
