Members of the Freedom of Russia Legion called on the leaders of the 'counter-terrorist operation' in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation to stop bombing their territories bordering Ukraine. They noted that ordinary Russians, their homes, critical infrastructure, factories and businesses are suffering as a result.

This is stated in the appeal of the volunteers published on their Telegram channel. They stressed that civilians in the region did not deserve to be killed by their own brothers.

"We call on you to stop combat missions, air strikes, bombing, artillery shelling and missile attacks on the territories bordering Ukraine! Ordinary Russian people are suffering from your actions," the statement reads.

"Enough is enough! Leave Shebekino and the region alone! This is already a liberated territory of Free Russia, and WE are Russians, and now we will restore order here, and most importantly, show what the real state of Russia should be like. The Russia of the future, where you want to live, not survive!" - the volunteers emphasised.

They also addressed the residents of Shebekino and the entire Belgorod region, assuring them that they are doing everything to put an end to this horror.

"We care about you and your fate. You are our fellow Russians. We do not wish you any harm. Stay safe. In case of alarm, go to the shelter immediately. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. Very soon you will be able to return to your homes, and those that were destroyed during this liberation operation will be rebuilt!" - the Legion soldiers assured.

As a reminder, the Russian army plans to destroy its own town of Shebekino in the Belgorod region with artillery, along with its residents, setting a trap for volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion and the Russian Volunteer Corps.

If the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin does go through with this, it will be another proof that he is ready to kill his own citizens to achieve his own goals.
