How to wash makeup brushes properly: detailed instructions

Makeup is a daily ritual for women that helps to hide imperfections and emphasize their appearance. Low-quality cosmetics and dirty brushes can lead to the spread of bacteria on the skin, which will contribute to the appearance of acne and spots.

Instructions

First, add warm water to a glass or other container to soak the brushes. Immerse the tools in water so that the handles remain dry as prolonged exposure to liquid can damage the material.

Apply a few drops of shampoo or shower gel to the palm of your hand. Remove the brushes and gently rub them with soap and water. After thoroughly cleaning, rinse the tools under running water to get rid of any soap and dirt.

Next, use a clean towel to dry the items. Spread out a paper towel, place the brushes on it, wait for them to dry, and then you can use them for makeup again.

Never use a hair dryer to speed up the process as this will only damage the material.

It is enough to clean the brushes once a month, but it all depends on the dirt.
