How to use a smartphone instead of a laptop webcam
Android owners can use their phone as a webcam without downloading additional programs or buying special cables. You can connect your smartphone to a computer of any brand.

Connect your smartphone to the computer
Use a USB cable to connect your phone to your laptop. It doesn't have to be a Windows operating system, if you have a MacBook, you can do it too. When you see a notification on your phone, click on it and select "webcam" from the list.
Settings
When webcam mode is active, a new notification will appear. Click on it and select the front or rear camera. You can also select the magnification you want to use. For example, a cropped 2x zoom mode or any other level with up to ten times zoom by clicking the video channel icon.
Turn on the webcam
After completing the previous steps, you can use your phone's webcam mode. In the main settings of your computer or in the video conferencing settings, select Android Camera and you're done.
