Vinegar and baking soda will help remove any stains from white clothes

White clothes always look impressive, they are pleasant to wear in the heat, and this color never loses its relevance. But white gets dirty very quickly. And this is frustrating because stains on white are most noticeable.

Sante Plus has collected several life hacks on how to restore the original whiteness of things. And at the same time, do not damage them with excessive friction or the use of aggressive chemicals.

First of all, it is important to treat all stains before sending things to the washing machine. Determine the type of contaminant, apply the appropriate product to it, make sure the stain has disappeared, and only then load it into the drum.

It is also important to wash white clothes inside out. This way, you will better clean the side of the garment that is in direct contact with the body and at the same time protect the front of the garment from excessive friction.

Natural remedies for removing stains from white

Two well-known remedies will do a good job of removing stains from white fabrics. These are baking soda and white vinegar.

Vinegar

Simply soaking white clothes in a vinegar solution will help to get rid of stains on white. After an hour in this solution, they can be sent to the washing machine. But it is important not to overdo it with the amount of powder or gel. Experts advise adding less than the amount specified in the instructions. Too much detergent can lead to the accumulation of residues in the fabric and the appearance of a grayish or yellowish coating on the white fabric.

Baking soda

This detergent is ideal for removing all kinds of stubborn stains on clothes. In particular, it can remove traces of rust, sweat, or blood. Combined with vinegar, the effect of baking soda is even stronger.

To clean white clothes with baking soda, do the following:

  • Wet the area with the stain.
  • Pour a little baking soda on it.
  • Rub it gently with a sponge and leave it on for about 30 minutes.
  • Rinse off the residue and put the item in the washing machine with normal detergent.

How to remove yellow stains from white

Even if yellow stains remain on white clothes after washing, they can still be removed from the fabric. Here again, vinegar will come to the rescue. Pour a cup of the product into the fabric softener compartment during machine washing. After that, it is best to let the item dry in the sun. Its rays will enhance the effect of vinegar, and you will forget about the yellow stain forever.
