Housewives often buy glass jars or other tableware to decorate their homes or organize their kitchen space. But the containers may have price tags that cannot be removed immediately and only spoil the appearance.
OBOZ.UA has found an effective life hack that will help you quickly deal with this. You can easily remove the sticker without damaging the jar and without spending a lot of time.
You can try removing them with warm water. You need to wet the container and rub it with your hands or a sponge and this will quickly remove the price tag.
But you need to make an effort to get rid of waterproof stickers with a metallic, textured, or glossy finish.
For this, you will need nail polish remover. Wear gloves to protect your manicure from acetone. Moisten a cotton pad, paper towel, or microfiber cloth with the liquid and place it on the sticker.
Leave it on for 10-20 minutes so that the paper is well saturated with the mixture. For greater effect, you can wrap the jar in plastic film to prevent the acetone from evaporating.
Then open it and rub the sticker thoroughly with a dry cloth to get rid of it. If the glue still remains, soak the cloth with nail polish remover and wipe everything well again.
Rinse the jar with warm water, dry it, and you can use it in your household.
