How to get rid of weeds between yard tiles

Weeds are resistant to various weather conditions and can take root almost anywhere. Unwanted plants often sprout between yard tiles, and this spoils the appearance of the yard. Aggressive chemicals can harm owners and pets, so they should be avoided.

OBOZ.UA has found effective tips to help you cope with this common problem. Be sure to wear gloves and a mask before treating the area.

Vinegar, salt, and dishwashing detergent

These ingredients are definitely in every home, so you don't need to spend money on special weed control products.

Add 150 grams of salt and two tablespoons of dishwashing detergent to a liter of vinegar. Stir everything thoroughly and use a spray bottle to apply generously to the plants and in the cracks between the tiles so that the liquid seeps into the roots.

Repeat this procedure until you see the weeds begin to wilt. Then pull them out by the roots and remove them from the site.

Remember that this solution is also dangerous for other plants, so try to do it away from them.

Vinegar and salt will not harm pets because they are natural ingredients. As for dishwashing detergent, you need to be careful, read the instructions before using it to determine whether it is safe for animals.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA published a recipe for a folk remedy that will help to quickly remove weeds.
