How to get rid of foundation stains on clothes: effective ways

Women often face the problem of cosmetic stains on their clothes, most often from foundation. You should immediately try to remove as much of the product as possible with a napkin or towel so that the fabric is not soaked with it.

Oil-based foundation

To do this, you will need a dishwashing detergent. Soak the stain with cold water, apply a few drops of the mixture and leave it for 3-5 minutes to soak the fabric completely. Then use your fingers or a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the area. If the fabric is delicate, use the back of a spoon.

Press a paper towel against the stain to absorb moisture and dirt and rinse with cold water. If the stain persists, repeat the procedure.

Water-based foundation

In this case, shaving foam will help you. Apply a little foam to the stain and leave it on for 3-5 minutes. Then lightly wipe the area with your fingers and rinse off with cold water.

Medical alcohol

This remedy will cope with stains from foundations of any kind. Soak a cotton pad in alcohol and gently wipe the dirty area. When the stain disappears, rinse the clothes with cold water.
