How to get rid of carbon deposits on the bottom of pans

Housewives often face a common problem when a frying pan loses its attractive appearance and has a dirty surface that is difficult to clean. During cooking, fat remains, and if it is not removed immediately, it sticks to the dishes and carbon deposits appear.

But OBOZ.UA has found an effective life hack that will help you cope with this. You don't need aggressive chemicals that can damage the surface.

Salt, baking soda, vinegar

These natural ingredients will effectively remove carbon deposits and restore a shiny look to your pan or pot.

To begin, pour one tablespoon of salt on the contaminated area, add the same amount of baking soda and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Then take an old toothbrush and scrub the pan well. Leave the pan for 2-3 hours to soften the grease and hardened food particles.

Cover the bottom with a paper towel and pour plenty of vinegar over it. Wait 10-15 minutes until the chemical reaction is complete and the mixture stops "fizzing".

Rinse everything off with warm water and rinse again with dishwashing detergent. If there is still carbon deposits, repeat the procedure again.
