Window cleaning sprays are expensive, but they often leave dirt and streaks on the glass. The Express edition found out how to wash windows quickly and efficiently.
How to wash windows quickly and without streaks
There is one very easy and effective way. You need to take white vinegar and a newspaper. But first, you need to clean the windows from dust - an ordinary paper towel will help.
Add water and vinegar in a 2:1 ratio to an empty spray bottle. Only white vinegar is suitable - it leaves no residue. Acids will help break down all dirt and even grease stains on the glass.
Spray the solution on the glass and immediately wipe it off with crumpled pieces of newspaper. Compared to standard rags and towels, newspaper has a rather rigid structure. It does not flake and does not leave lint after cleaning. You can also take microfiber napkins.
When using newspaper, do not rub the window frame with it, as the ink can cause serious stains. It is better to wipe the frame with a paper towel.
Finally, polish the glass with a dry piece of newspaper.
The job takes less than 10 minutes. Both sides of the window will shine clean.
