In four years, residents and visitors to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates can access another luxury tourist attraction in a sophisticated and ultra-modern style called Moon World Resorts.

The bold architectural project, estimated at $5 billion, aims to replicate the moon in a luxury resort, writes Olhar Digital.

Designed by Canadian businessmen Michael R. Henderson and Sandra G. Matthews, the project includes a structure 224 meters high and 622 meters in circumference, where guests can experience a realistic satellite travel.

The project aims not only to attract tourists on vacation, but also to host exquisite events and parties in an arena with a capacity of 10,000 people. According to the architecturers, the hotel will have about four thousand rooms.

Some can even be purchased. "Approximately 144 luxury units will be available for purchase, each measuring 13 by 17 square meters. Owners will receive exclusive privileges because of lifetime membership in the owners' club".

"We are in the process of bringing an extremely complex and daring mega-concept to physical reality," another post on the future resort's official Instagram reads.

"When 'Moon' opens around 2027, you will be able to walk on the lunar surface, exploring a truly authentic lunar colony. Yes, you walk on the moon," the creators of the project announce.

The project's initiators say it will be "a very luxurious and modern resort, fully integrated with many of the components you're already familiar with."

One of the highlights is the nighttime lighting of the structure, which will change depending on the particular phase the moon will pass through. Henderson explains that the intention is to give visitors the experience of being on the moon without leaving Earth.

According to the businessman, there is an intention to build at least four units of a monthly tourist resort around the world. In addition to Dubai, the resort is to be built in one country in Europe, another in North Africa and one in North America.
