In the central province of Hunan (China), archaeologists have found four tombs dating back to about 1900. Inside the tombs, experts found 81 ceramic objects, iron, glass, silver, and bronze items.

According to Xinhua news agency, archaeologists believe that the tombs were built before or during the Han Empire (25-220) and the Sang dynasty (220-280), approximately 1700-1900 years ago. Two of the tombs, according to the objects found in them, could have belonged to women (to see the photo, scroll down).

"Pendants and earrings were found in two tombs," the report said.

Experts emphasized that it was thanks to the objects found in the tombs, as well as the architecture and inscriptions on the wall of one of the tombs, that they were able to calculate the age of the buildings themselves.

They emphasized that the discovery is of great importance for the study of funerary customs, economy, culture, and social system in the period from the beginning of the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Sang dynasty in southern Hunan Province.

The Han Empire was ruled by the Liu Dynasty. It is a testament to the success of Han domestic policy that it lasted longer than any other empire in Chinese history.

The Three Kingdoms is a period of ancient Chinese history that lasted from 220 to 280, known as the struggle and confrontation of three states - Wei, Wu, and Shu. This period is associated with the cultural and economic prosperity of the territory.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, archaeologists in Italy have found the skeleton of a man who tried to escape the eruption of Mount Vesuvius but died while running away, literally near the water.
