A thirty-year-old resident of the village of Yasinya, Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia, miraculously survived a fall on the Dragobrat mountain meadow. The man flew down about 80 meters and was injured.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook. The rescuers emphasized that the Ukrainian was born in a shirt, while warning vacationers against careless hiking in the mountains (to see the photo, scroll to the end).

"After falling from a snow ledge, he flew 80 meters into the mountain abyss and survived when he landed," the post reads.

According to rescuers, the accident occurred on June 13, when the man was hiking on the Dragobrat mountain valley near Mount Blyznytsia.

Specialists from the mountain search and rescue departments of Yasinya and Kvasy villages rushed to his aid in special vehicles.

A man was injured

Around 5 p.m., they reached the injured man, provided him with first aid and transported him to Yasinya, where he was handed over to medical care.

"We remind you once again that the mountains are not only incredibly beautiful, but also very dangerous. Therefore, we urge everyone to be as cautious as possible during mountain walks!" the SES emphasized.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on June 13, rescuers found a drowned man in Lake Didorivka in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. The body of the deceased was 10 meters from the shore at a depth of three meters.
