What to make with overripe bananas: a simple dessert option

If you have very soft and blackened bananas that no one wants to eat, you can use them to make a delicious dessert. Alternatively, a fluffy muffin. The dough for it is as simple as possible and does not require long kneading.

The idea of making a fluffy banana cake was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Polina with the nickname polli_cooking.

Ingredients:

  • 3 bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla sugar
  • 200 g of flour
  • nuts, raisins, cranberries (optional)

Method of preparation:

1. Take 2 ripe bananas and add the eggs to them. Using a fork (you can also use a blender), mix the ingredients into a homogeneous mass.

2. Add oil, sugar, vanilla sugar and mix.

3. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.

4. Add nuts and raisins if desired.

5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

6. The banana cake is very tender and has a moist center.
