What to cook with young cabbage, except for salad: you need minced meat and cheese
Young cabbage is most often used to make fresh salads. But this vegetable can also be used to make a very satisfying dish with meat and cheese - cabbage steaks.
The idea of cooking cabbage steaks was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana with the nickname svitlana_orineo . It turns out to be a full-fledged hearty dish.
Ingredients:
- young cabbage - 1 pc.
- minced chicken - 500 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- sour cream - 200 ml.
- hard cheese - 80 g
- salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Italian herbs
- dill, parsley
- garlic
- oil for cooking (preferably olive oil)
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the cabbage into 2 cm thick slices.
2. Lubricate each with oil.
3. Add spices: salt, pepper and smoked paprika.
4. Add chopped onion, salt, pepper, Italian herbs (or other favorite spices) and egg to the minced meat.
5. Mix well with your hands.

8. Combine sour cream, herbs, garlic, grated cheese, and salt in a bowl. Brush each steak with this sauce.
9. Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 40-50 minutes.
