What to make with oatmeal for a snack: a delicious dish for adults and children
Oatmeal pancakes are an ideal option not only for a hearty and healthy breakfast but also for a snack. It is traditionally topped with a filling, which can be salty or sweet: from cheese, vegetables, and herbs to jam, berries, and fruit.
Food blogger Oksana Bilinska (oxana_bil) shared a recipe for oatmeal pancakes with a filling on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- oatmeal – 4 tbsp.
- eggs – 1 pc
- milk – 8 tbsp.
- cocoa – 1 tsp.
- salt
- sweetener
The filling:
- peanut butter
- banana
- blueberries\blueberries
Method of preparation:
1. To make a pancake, it is better to grind the oatmeal to a crumb or use finely ground flakes. Add eggs, milk, cocoa, salt and sweetener. Mix everything thoroughly.
2. Pour the resulting mass evenly into a preheated frying pan and fry a thin pancake on both sides.
3. Spread the finished pancake with peanut butter, put banana slices and berries. Fold the pancake in half. Enjoy your meal!
