Canned tomatoes are a great appetizer for a festive table. But only if the vegetables remain intact. To do this, you need to add one simple ingredient to the marinade.

A way to cook tomatoes for the winter:

1. First of all, you need to put the tomatoes in three-liter sterilized jars.

2. Pour boiling water over the coffee.

3. Cover with lids and leave for about 7 minutes.

4. Drain the tomatoes into the pan.

5. Add per jar: 2.5 tablespoons of salt, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 3 cloves, 7 black peppercorns, a pinch of ground red pepper, 2 bay leaves, 2-3 peeled garlic cloves.

6. Bring everything to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of vinegar essence and vodka. Pour into a jar and roll up the lid.
