Waffle cake with condensed milk, like in childhood: what to add for an original taste

Waffle cake with condensed milk is one of the most favorite childhood delicacies. But today there are many different ways to make it. Some chefs even recommend sprinkling one of the cake layers with a large amount of chili pepper, which will give the dish a completely new flavor.

However, a food blogger with the nickname karinafisenkova decided to remind us on her Instagram of the classic recipe for making a waffle cake with condensed milk. This recipe also uses butter. She also added an interesting ingredient to her taste.

Ingredients:

  • Butter - 200 g
  • Boiled condensed milk - 700 g
  • Wafer sheets - 10 pcs.
  • Salted peanuts
  • Banana - 2 pcs.

Method of preparation:

1. Beat the butter with a mixer until white.

2. Gradually start adding condensed milk to it. Beat until you get a fluffy, elastic homogeneous mass.

3. Peel the bananas and cut them into thin rings.

4. Spread the cream on the waffle and cover with the second waffle.

5. Spread the second layer with the mass but with a slightly thicker layer. Put the banana slices on top and cover with the third waffle, which is greased with the mass on both sides.

6. Each layer should be pressed well against the other so that the cake is soaked and does not fall apart when cut.

7. Add a few more layers, including the banana layer.

8. Spread the last wafer on top with the mass, and spread the rest of the mass around the edges of the cake.

9. Garnish with chopped peanuts and let stand for at least an hour.
