Versatile gravy with chicken gizzards: for potatoes, pasta and any porridge

To make potatoes, porridge or pasta hearty and juicy, make a meat gravy for them. And it doesn't have to be tenderloin or fillet. Budget chicken gizzards are perfect for this dish.

The idea of making a versatile chicken gizzard gravy was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Karina (karinafisenkova). The meat is stewed in a frying pan.

Ingredients:

  • raw chicken gizzards - 800 g (clean and cook until tender for about 1 hour)
  • onion - 1 pc (cut into half rings)
  • carrots - 2 pcs (grated)
  • flour - 1 tbsp
  • water
  • cream or sour cream - 100-150 ml to taste
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Fry gizzards with vegetables until golden brown.

2. Add flour.

3. Mix well so that there is no white color left.

4. Pour in warm water, stirring to make a homogeneous mass without lumps.

5. After boiling, add cream or sour cream diluted with a little water.

6. Let it boil for 4 minutes and turn off.
