Tastier than any cake: an elementary orange pie for tea
Homemade pies can be made with shortcrust pastry, puff pastry, yeast pastry, and pita bread. Berries, fruits, chocolate, and nuts can be used as fillings.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious orange pie on Instagram, which would be the perfect dessert for tea.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 г. 15% sour cream
- 80 g of butter
- 200 g. of flour
- 0.5 tsp. baking powder
- 1-2 oranges
- powdered sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Add sugar, sour cream, melted butter to the eggs and mix well.
2. Stir in the flour and baking powder and add the zest of one orange, mix to make a smooth dough.
3. Cover the bottom of the mold with parchment and grease with butter, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Put the orange, cut into thin slices, on the bottom of the mold and pour the batter.
4. Bake the cake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a wooden stick.
Remove the finished cake from the mold, turn it over and remove the parchment, cut it and you're ready to eat!
