Sweet cottage cheese balls fried in oil: cook for 10 minutes
Sweet curd balls are a great alternative to syrnyky. The pastries are made from simple cottage cheese dough and fried in plenty of oil. If desired, the balls can be filled with a filling or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
On her Instagram page, food blogger Anastasiia with the nickname healthydemure shared a recipe for sweet curd dough balls that you can easily make in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- eggs -2 pcs
- sugar - 85 g
- flour - 185 g
- baking soda slaked with vinegar - 1\2 tsp.
- vanillin
- vegetable oil for frying - 200-300 ml
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare the cottage cheese for cooking, grinding it with a fork or through a sieve. This will make the dough fluffier and softer.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the grated cottage cheese: eggs, sugar, vanilla, baking soda slaked with vinegar, and flour. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous dough is formed.
3. Form the dough into medium-sized balls.
4. Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan and heat well. Then dip the balls and fry until golden brown.
5. Put the finished balls on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. It's ready!
