Ready-made puff pastry and Camembert appetizer: how to serve in an original way

If you love cheese, then the dish prepared by the famous chef Tetiana Litvinova will definitely be to your taste.

She posted a recipe for the perfect appetizer on her Instagram. It is not only easy and quick to prepare but also looks very original.

Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 500 gr
  • pesto sauce
  • Camembert - 1 head

Method of preparation

1. Defrost puff pastry and roll out two circles of equal diameter.

2. Place one circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with pesto sauce within 1 cm of the edge of the dough.

3. Place a head of Camembert cheese in the center.

4. Cover with the second half of the dough.

5. Secure the edges of the dough with a fork.

6. Cut the dough into 8 equal parts without touching the cheese.

7. Twist each part twice around its axis.

8. Brush the dough with egg yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and put in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees.

9. Take out the dish, cut off the top of the cheese, and tear off the stick from the dough. Stick it into the cheese and enjoy.
