Peach cookies: how to make a delicious dessert from childhood
Everyone has known Peach cookies since childhood. Having tasted them, you can plunge into a carefree life for a moment when this delicacy gave you joy for the whole day.
A recipe for cookies that bring you back to childhood was shared by food blogger Valentyna Kushch. On Instagram, she explained how to make this dessert so that it looks as much like a peach as possible.
Ingredients:
- Flour - 350 gr
- Soft butter - 50 gr
- Powdered sugar - 120 gr
- Eggs - 2 pcs
- Vanilla
- Baking powder - a pinch
Ingredients for the filling:
- Boiled condensed milk
Ingredients for decorating:
- Red and orange food coloring
- Sugar
- Nuts (optional)
How to prepare:
1. Beat soft butter until white with powdered sugar.
2. Add eggs one at a time and beat each time.
3. Add flour, baking powder, and vanilla. The dough should be soft and pliable.
4. Form the dough into balls of equal size, about 30 grams each.
5. Put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment at a distance from each other and press them down a little.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. The cakes should not be brown.
7. Make a hole in the bottom of each cookie with a spoon and fill it with condensed milk. You can add your favorite nut in the middle.
8. Combine the two halves. Let it stand in the refrigerator for an hour. For stabilization.
9. To color the cakes, dilute a few drops of dye in boiling water and apply it to the cake. While the dye is still dry, roll it in sugar.
