It will be much tastier and more satisfying to bake the sausages in the oven instead of boiling them. Puff pastry is ideal for this dish, and you can simply buy it in the store - it will be much faster. The products are very appetizing and crispy.

The idea of cooking baked sausages in puff pastry was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna with the nickname katia_cooking_. It will be delicious if you put a piece of cheese in the sausage, which will melt after baking.

Ingredients:

  • sausages - 10 pcs.
  • puff pastry - 250 g
  • egg yolk - 2 pcs
  • mozzarella cheese - 170 g
  • sesame seeds - optional

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the sausages lengthwise (but not deeply).

2. Put the cheese inside.

3. Cut the puff pastry into small strips.

4. Wrap the sausages in the dough.

5. Place on a baking sheet.

6. Brush with egg yolk.

7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 15 minutes.
