How to salt red fish deliciously: you can eat the very next day

Instead of buying salted fish, you can prepare it at home. It's much tastier and more budget-friendly. All you need is salt and sugar.

The idea of making homemade lightly salted red fish was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia with the nickname anny.cooking. You can eat this fish the next day.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g of fish (can be pieces)
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar with a slide

Method of preparation:

1. Remove the bones from the fish, dry it with a paper towel or napkins.

2. Mix salt and sugar.

3. Lightly rub the fish with a mixture of salt and sugar.

4. Place in a container/mold with the fillet side down.

5. Close and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.

6. After pickling, drain the liquid from the container.

7. Wipe the fish with a paper towel.
