How to make pancake roll: simple technology
Traditional sweet rolls are often made with sponge cake dough. But this is quite time-consuming because to make the dough fluffy, it must be kneaded properly for a long time. Therefore, you can use a much simpler idea and make a pancake roll
The idea was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Polina with the nickname polli_cooking.
Ingredients for pancakes:
- 150 ml of milk
- 1 egg
- 25 g of rice flour
- 25 g of corn starch
- 1 tsp. of oil
- 1 tbsp. of cocoa
- sweetener to taste
- a pinch of salt
Ingredients for the cream:
- 300 ml of milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 20 g of corn starch
- sweetener to taste
- vanillin
Method of preparation:
1. For pancakes, combine all the ingredients and mix with a mixer (you can use a whisk) until smooth and lump-free.
2. Fry on a preheated frying pan for 30-40 seconds on each side.
3. For the cream, combine all the ingredients, mix, and put on medium heat.
4. Put on medium heat and brew the cream with constant stirring.
5. Cover the contact with foil and let it cool.
6. Let the pancakes cool and assemble the dessert: pancake, cream, pancake.
7. Roll up, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
8. Take it out and cut it into pieces.
