- 2 pieces of herring
- 1 onion
- 2 pcs bay leaves
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tbsp of salt
- 0.5 tbsp of sugar
- 50 g of vinegar
- 50 g of oil and 1.5 tbsp of tomato paste
Method of preparation:
1. Defrost herring.
2. Clean the fish from the bones.
3. Wash and cut into pieces.
4. Peel onion and cut it into half rings.
5. Fry tomato paste in oil.
6. Add all the prepared ingredients to the container with the herring.
7. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.
