How to cook delicious hake for dinner: a budget and healthy recipe
Hake is a very meaty and juicy fish. A meal prepared with it will be hearty and healthy. In addition, the product is very well combined with simple ingredients that everyone has at home.
Food blogger Liliia (twins.mom.8) shared how to cook hake for lunch on her Instagram page. Any side dish will go with this fish.
Ingredients:
- hake - 2-3 fish
- onion - 1 medium
- carrots - 1 medium
- tomatoes - 2-3 pieces
- spices - to taste (dried tomatoes, rosemary, pepper)
- flour - 5 tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the hake thoroughly and cut it into convenient pieces.
2. Pour flour into a bowl, add spices and mix.
3. Heat a frying pan with oil.
4. Dip the fish in flour and spices and put it in a frying pan.
5. First, fry each piece on each side but do not overcrowd. Cook until slightly golden brown.
6. Put all the pieces in the same pan, add onion and fry for 3-4 minutes.
7. Add carrots and fry for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Beat tomatoes in a blender and pour over the fish.
9. Add tomato paste or sauce to taste.
10. Stew for 7-10 minutes. Squeeze garlic and add other spices and herbs if desired.
11. Cook for a few more minutes, add lemon juice and turn off.
