How to cook delicious carbonara pasta at home: a variant of a hearty and gourmet lunch

Carbonara is a delicious pasta in a creamy parmesan sauce. But, despite the fact that it is a restaurant dish, it is very easy to prepare it at home. It will make a hearty and nutritious lunch.

The idea of making the perfect carbonara pasta is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Daryna with the nickname recepti_dariko. For this dish, you can use ordinary store-bought spaghetti.

Ingredients:

  • smoked bacon - 250 g
  • spaghetti - 400 g
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • cream 10% - 1 cup
  • egg yolks - 6 pcs. (2 go straight into the dish, 2 I put in the plates for adults)
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 g

Method of preparation:

1. Trim the rind from the bacon and cut it into strips.

2. Fry in olive oil on both sides.

3. Put on a paper towel to remove excess fat.

4. Boil the spaghetti completely in salted water, the time is indicated on the package.

5. Meanwhile, in the same oil where the bacon was fried, fry the chopped garlic for a minute, pour in the cream, salt, and simmer for a few minutes.

6. Beat the two egg yolks a little and pour into the cream sauce, mix well.

7. Grate the Parmesan cheese on a fine grater.

8. Put the spaghetti on a dish (for a common or portioned dish), pour the sauce, sprinkle with Parmesan, put the bacon on top, put the raw yolk.

9. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
